Over the last five years, Great Schools Partnership has been partnering with districts across New England to explore how to best leverage community engagement. By bringing parents, students, educators, and community stakeholders together to critically analyze, design, and provide feedback to their school districts, GSP has helped communities come closer to achieving educational equity. In this session, we will take a closer look at three tools that have been created based on the experiences, research, and outcomes from our community engagement coaches and partners:
  • Equitable Community Engagement - a tool that defines and outlines community engagement and how it can be applied towards creating equitable outcomes for students);
  • Moving Towards Equity - a tool that helps districts identify and strategize ways to move along the continuum of engagement);
  • The Case For Community Engagement - a tool that helps participants explore the benefits of effective community engagement
Your feedback is welcomed and valued!
